Capital City Market is a food hall in Downtown Des Moines, Iowa, featuring 10 unique farm-to-table dining experiences that source ingredients from within a 50-mile radius. It’s designed as a community hub where local farmers can showcase their high-quality ingredients, and patrons can dine with confidence, knowing they are getting quality, guaranteed. The task was crafting an identity for this food hall experience.

The passport book invites visitors to an interactive exploration of the Market space. The books are complimentary to all guests, so that they are able to explore all of the unique offerings of Capital City Market. Upon their visit to a shop within the Market, they receive a stamp in their passport book. Below that is a dedicated space for any additional notes and to jot down what was ordered, so you never forget a favorite.
